Bird Murals, Mount Hawthorn

I collaborated with the homeowner and their children to create two fun and whimsical murals for this young family to enjoy.
The client requested the main mural at their front door to feature the beautiful willie wagtail, a bird that frequents their residence. I used a combination of blues, purples and greys to highlight the blackbird’s glistening feathers while also complementing the primary tones of the house.

The second mural features an ibis, colloquially known as a “bin chicken”, a bird notorious for rummaging through garbage. The mural is designed to brighten the driveway and bin spot. I used tones from the willie wagtail mural to paint foliage.
