Over the last couple of years, Susan Respinger, Imogen Palmer and Hayley Smith have become good friends. Being friends who are all artists and friends who can work together on a project are two very different things. Some people work well together professionally but may not click on a close friendship level. Others may be great friends but struggle to collaborate in a work setting.
The three of them hit the jackpot. After a week collaborating on a public mural in Boddington they can now say that they’re not only great friends but also work really well together. There is a deep appreciation for these women for their hard work, great communication skills, and kindness. It made the project an absolute dream, and they are all eager to collaborate again soon.
Being an artist can be quite an isolating experience, but relationships like these encourage, motivate, and inspire.
Boddington is a beautiful town. They fell in love with the foggy mornings, excellent coffee, and long, friendly chats with the local community. It is truly a beautiful place, and they are grateful that the shire selected them to impart a little of their creativity on the town.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the community of Boddington for their kindness. The team hopes that everyone who stops by enjoys this new artwork, and they look forward to doing more projects like this in the near future.
